GoVols247's Wes Rucker and Patrick Brown went into Fort Rucker Studio for the second of our two-part preview of Tennessee's first spring camp under new head football coach Jeremy Pruitt. This episode focuses on the defense, which might need to carry the team in 2018. Pruitt is a defensive backs coach by trade, and he's spent much of his career working for defensive mastermind Nick Saban, and Tennessee almost certainly will have to be good on that side of the ball in order to make Pruitt's first season a good one. Reasons for optimism and causes for pause on all three levels of Tennessee's defense are the main topics of this episode, but several other topics are discussed. Patrick recently sat down with Pruitt and came away with updates on several topics, including the addition of graduate-transfer quarterback Keller Chryst from Stanford, the addition of graduate-transfer running back Madre London from Michigan State, the return of star wide receiver Jauan Jennings to the program's good graces and the health of Tennessee's offensive line.
